These are resin replacement exhausts for a model of the British Hawker Hurricane fighter in the Mk. IIC version and of its carrier counterpart the Sea Hurricane in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane model but a small detail part from Quickboost. The casting replaces the exhausts from the kit with a more faithfully made replacement with hollowed openings.
The Hawker Hurricane was a single-seat fighter powered by the Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engine. The Mk. IIC version carried the heavy armament of four 20 mm cannon in the wings and proved itself as a fighter and as an attack machine. The Sea Hurricane was the naval adaptation flown from the decks of ships. The exhaust pipes along the sides of the nose are among the characteristic and clearly visible details.
First wash the parts to remove the remains of the mold release from the mold. Separate them from the casting block carefully with a saw or a knife and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); ordinary plastic cement does not hold on resin. Sand with respiratory protection, because resin dust is very fine. Before painting, key the surface lightly and apply a primer suitable for resin.
This is an accessory for refining a plastic kit, not a standalone model. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
