This resin set replaces the out-of-the-box wheels with accurate castings with weighted tires with a flattened lower part. It is intended for models of the Il-14 transport aircraft and its Il-14P version in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit of an airplane but an accessory that refines it.
The Ilyushin Il-14 was a Soviet twin-engined piston transport aircraft of the postwar era, used on short and medium routes and in military transport. It was built in a number of Eastern Bloc countries and, thanks to its reliability, served for many decades. Its sturdy landing gear with large wheels matched its operation from less well-prepared airfields.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. Glue resin with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Sand with respiratory protection. Point the weighted tires with the flattened patch toward the ground and apply primer before painting.
This is an accessory, not a model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
