It contains precisely cast resin landing gear wheels for the early Saab J-29 Tunnan jet fighter, together with masking film for spraying the tires and the hubs cleanly. The wheels tend to be cast with a suggestion of load for a realistic stance. The accessory is not an aircraft model in itself.
The Saab 29 Tunnan was a Swedish jet fighter of the turn of the 1940s and 1950s, with a characteristically rounded, barrel-like fuselage, which earned it a nickname from the Swedish word for barrel. It was one of the first European production fighters with a swept wing.
Separate the wheels from the casting blocks with a saw and wash them to remove the mold release agent. Stick the masks onto the hubs, spray the rest of the tire and peel the mask off once dry. Use super glue for bonding resin. A muted dark gray suits the tires better than pure black.
