This set of photo-etched parts in 1:72 scale from Tetra Model Works serves to refine the Aoshima plastic kit of the Japanese Type 73 heavy tank transporter. It is not a standalone model or a kit, but an accessory that replaces the coarser plastic parts with thin metal ones and adds fine detail.
The Type 73 is a heavy tractor with a trailer of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) meant to carry main battle tanks such as the Type 74 and the Type 10. The combination has a high load capacity and is used to move hardware on public roads.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface, make the bends with a bending tool or a metal ruler and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). In 1:72 scale work with tweezers and patience, because the parts are small. Degrease the surface and apply a primer for metal before painting.
