A detail set from the Czech manufacturer Quickboost (Aires workshop) contains resin seats with accurately molded seat belts for a model of the three-engine transport aircraft Junkers Ju 52 in 1:72 scale. The belts are molded directly as part of the parts, so there is no need to assemble photo-etched buckles. The set is a replacement part, not a standalone model.
The Ju 52 has a glazed cabin where the interior is clearly visible, so detailed seats are worth the effort. The resin castings have sharper relief than plastic parts and, with molded belts, fill the cabin more realistically.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks with a fine saw. Glue with cyanoacrylate. Before closing the fuselage, dry-fit the seats' placement and paint them before assembly. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The set contains only resin seats. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
