Quinta Studio 1:72 Kamov Ka-52 Engine with Bay and Cover, starboard side is a 3D-printed resin set for a faithful rendering of the right-hand engine and its bay on the Ka-52 helicopter kits from Dream Model and Quinta.
Responsibility details are not available.
This aftermarket 3D-printed resin set in 1:72 scale covers the starboard engine of the Kamov Ka-52 attack helicopter including the engine bay and the removable cover. It is not a model but a detail accessory for the Ka-52 kits from Dream Model and Quinta, which makes it possible to show the engine with the service bay open. 3D printing brings fine detail to the units and the pipework.
The Kamov Ka-52 Alligator is a Russian two-seat attack helicopter with a characteristic coaxial rotor system. It is powered by two turboshaft engines mounted on the sides of the fuselage; their bays tend to be opened up for maintenance, which is a rewarding subject for detailed modeling.
Separate the parts from the supports, wash and degrease them and glue with super glue. Sand with respiratory protection. Grade the engine and its units in metallic shades, bring the pipework and wiring out, and support the bay with a wash and fine scuffs for the impression of service wear.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
