Eduard 1:72 painting masks Ki-46 II Dinah are a set of self-adhesive kabuki masks for a clean spray of the cockpit frames and the small clear areas of the Japanese Mitsubishi Ki-46 reconnaissance aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of self-adhesive painting masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard is intended for models of the Mitsubishi Ki-46 II Dinah reconnaissance aircraft in 1:72 scale. The masks are precisely die-cut from low-tack kabuki tape, which holds well on shaped parts and does not damage the clear plastic. They cover the glazed areas so that after spraying the cockpit frames stay sharp and straight.
The Mitsubishi Ki-46 was a twin-engine reconnaissance aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force in the Second World War. It stood out for its aerodynamically clean fuselage, its high speed and its long range, thanks to which it evaded fighters for a long time. The Ki-46 II version was among the most widespread and was deployed in the Pacific and the Asian theaters.
Take the parts off the sheet carefully, transfer them onto the glazing and press them down with a soft tool. Fill in the smaller frames with strips of tape or with masking fluid. Spray the color of the inner frame first, then the outer top coat. Take the masks off while the paint has only just dried, for the sharpest edge.
The masks are an accessory for spraying, not a model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
