Ki-84 Hayate seat (3D printed), 1:72, Eduard is a resin detail set of the pilot's seat for models of the Japanese Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from Eduard is a detail accessory, not an aircraft model. It contains a 3D printed pilot's seat for a model of the Japanese Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate fighter in 1:72 scale. The print captures the fine structure and the lightening holes of the seat, which are hard to achieve in injected plastic.
The Ki-84 Hayate was among the best performing Japanese army fighters of the closing stages of the Second World War. It stood out for its good speed, rate of climb and pilot armor. In such a small scale the cockpit is one of the most closely watched parts of a model, and a faithful seat lifts its appearance markedly.
Wash the part to remove uncured resin residue and separate it carefully from the print supports. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray the seat, bring out the detail with a wash and add painted or photo-etched harness straps. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
