Eduard Masking Set, Lancaster Mk.I / Mk.III (1:72) — precisely cut masks for the extensive glazing and wheels of the bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely cut masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, designed for the heavy bomber Avro Lancaster Mk.I / Mk.III in 1:72 scale. Masks made from masking film are applied precisely onto the glazing frames and, when sprayed, produce sharp edges with no bleed. On the Lancaster, with its extensive nose, cockpit and turret glazing, a masking set saves a great deal of time and frustration compared with hand-cutting tape. Circular tire masks are usually included too, for a clean transition between the tire and the wheel hub.
The Avro Lancaster was a British four-engine heavy night bomber, one of the backbone types of the British air campaign over Europe. It was powered by Rolls-Royce Merlin engines; the Mk.I and Mk.III versions differed mainly in the origin of these engines. The Lancaster was famous for its large bomb load and is closely tied to some of the most famous raids of the Second World War.
This is a masking aid, not a model. Paints and the kit are not included in the package.
