It contains precisely cast resin main landing gear wheels for the four-engine Avro Lancaster bomber, together with masking film for spraying the tires and the hubs cleanly. The wheels tend to be cast with a suggestion of load, which looks especially realistic on a heavy aircraft. The accessory is not an aircraft model in itself.
The Avro Lancaster was a British four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War. It was powered by four Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engines. The Lancaster carried a capacious bomb bay and became one of the best-known British bombers of the night campaign.
Separate the wheels from the casting blocks with a saw and wash them to remove the mold release agent. Stick the masks onto the hubs, spray the rest of the tire and peel the mask off once dry. Use super glue for bonding resin. On a heavy bomber it pays to give attention to setting the wheels at the right angle to the gear legs.
