A finished collector model of the American M113A2 tracked armored personnel carrier in battalion headquarters markings, 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The M113 is an American tracked armored personnel carrier introduced in the early 1960s. Its welded box of aluminum alloy gave it a low weight, thanks to which it was air-transportable, and its simple construction made it one of the most widespread tracked vehicles of all. The A2 version brought changes to the cooling and the suspension that raised both reliability and the service life of the chassis. Vehicles at a battalion headquarters are additionally fitted with communications equipment and carry the tactical markings of their unit.
This is a finished collector model in 1:72 scale, not a kit. The vehicle is assembled and painted, so you can put it straight into a display case or place it in a collection beside other vehicles of the same size. The designation in the name refers to the carrier of the headquarters of the third battalion.
Place the model out of direct sunlight; prolonged exposure will fade the shades. Sweep the dust off with a soft brush, as a cloth catches on antennas and small projections and can break them off. Do not use water or cleaning agents, which the factory paint and printing will not stand. Pick the model up by the box, not by the tracks or by fine accessories, which take the least load.
For collectors of military vehicles who want to add a well-known American carrier to 1:72 scale without building and painting, and for modelers looking for a finished vehicle as an addition to a scene. A display case and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
