Responsibility details are not available.
This cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:72 scale is intended for a plastic model of the Soviet Mi-26 Halo heavy transport helicopter. It is not a kit or a model in its own right but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape. The masks help to cover the divided glazing of the spacious cockpit and to separate the landing gear tires from the hubs while spraying.
The Mil Mi-26 Halo is a Soviet and later Russian heavy transport helicopter and the largest and most powerful series-built helicopter in the world. It has an eight-blade main rotor and can carry bulky cargo, military vehicles and dozens of troops. It is used for military and civil transport, rescue and firefighting duties and for carrying underslung loads where ground vehicles cannot reach.
Degrease the glazing before applying the masks and let it dry. Lift the individual masks off the backing with tweezers and place them on the canopy frames, press them into the edges and fill any gaps with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in two thin coats so that it does not creep under the edge of the mask. The wheel masks separate the tire from the hub. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package holds only the masks. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
