A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand, made by Aires, intended to refine the plastic kit of the MiG-15 jet fighter in 1:72 scale. It replaces the plastic exhaust nozzle with a finely cast part with a faithful inner wall and a clean lip.
The MiG-15 was a single-engine jet fighter of the early 1950s. The exhaust nozzle at the rear of the fuselage is a visible feature that a plastic kit often simplifies into a coarser cavity; a faithful casting gives a model depth.
Wash the mold release agent off the part, separate it from the casting block and bond it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The inside of the nozzle can be darkened and lightly weathered for the impression of heat stress.
This is an accessory for a kit, not an aircraft model. The kit itself is not included in the package.
