About product

MiG-21MF - air scoops 1:72 (Quickboost)

A resin detail accessory for models of the MiG-21 fighter (the MF version and related ones) in 1:72 scale. The set contains finely cast small air scoops that replace the simplified plastic parts on the fuselage and sharpen its appearance.

Use and fitting

  • Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent and carefully cut off the casting blocks
  • Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue)
  • Once glued, clean up the joints and paint them together with the fuselage

Who the set is for

For modelers building the MiG-21 in 1:72 who want more faithful fuselage detail without laborious conversion work. Suitable for intermediate builders.

This is an accessory, not a complete model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.

FAQ

They are the small air intakes and scoops on the fuselage of the aircraft; the set replaces them with more faithful castings.

No, this is a resin detail accessory; the aircraft itself has to come from another kit.

The scoops match the MF version and related ones; compare them with the fuselage of your model before fitting.
