Quickboost 1:72 – de Havilland Mosquito exhausts are a resin detail part for experienced modelers that refines the engine nacelles of the British aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin Quickboost set in 1:72 scale contains exactly cast exhaust pipes for the British de Havilland Mosquito. It is not an aircraft model but an aftermarket detail part that will replace the plastic exhausts from the kit and give the engine nacelles a crisper, more accurate outline.
The de Havilland Mosquito was a British twin-engine aircraft of the Second World War famous for its wooden structure and its versatility; it served as a bomber, a night fighter and a reconnaissance machine. It was powered by Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engines with characteristic exhaust outlets along the nacelles. Resin exhausts with hollow suggestions of the mouths are a conspicuous detail that raises realism at a small scale.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water before gluing because of the mold release from the mold. Separate them from the casting block with a saw or a knife, do not break them off. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand and cut with respiratory protection, resin dust is harmful to health.
These are resin detail parts, not a standalone model. Paints, glue and the kit are not included in the package.
