A set of resin seats with faithfully modeled safety belts in 1:72 scale. This accessory from Quickboost (the range of simple resin parts from Aires) replaces the seats from a plastic kit of the British multipurpose de Havilland Mosquito. These are not ejection seats: the Mosquito had conventional fixed ones. It is not a model of an aircraft but detail parts, which go straight into the cockpit and raise its appearance.
The Mosquito was a British twin-engine multipurpose aircraft of the Second World War with a largely wooden structure, which earned it the nickname the Wooden Wonder. Thanks to its low weight and powerful engines it was among the fastest machines of its day and filled the roles of fast bomber, night fighter and reconnaissance aircraft. The crew consisted of two men sitting side by side, so both seats are clearly visible in an open cockpit.
These are castings in resin. Wash them in lukewarm water with detergent and rid them of the remains of mold release agent, otherwise neither paint nor glue will hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw away from the part and sand the surfaces. They are glued with cyanoacrylate, not with cement for plastic. Protect your airways when sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin set for more experienced modelers. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
