1:72 P-51D-5 Mustang ESSENTIAL brings several Eduard accessory sets for the early series of the bubble-canopy Mustang together in one Big Sin package.

The Big Sin bundle in 1:72 scale brings together accessories for one particular block of the Mustang. The ESSENTIAL designation says that this is the basic extent of the pack; in this line the brand also runs a richer ADVANCED variant. The accessories are fitted to a plastic model, so the set does not replace a kit and cannot be built without one.
The D version received a cut-down rear fuselage and a bubble canopy, which finally gave the pilot a view to the rear. The D-5 block was the earliest of them and did not yet have the additional dorsal fin that later series called for because of the directional stability lost when the rear fuselage was reshaped; on some machines it was added by units in the field. The armament consisted of heavy machine guns in the wing, and the range with drop tanks was enough to escort bomber formations deep over the continent.
In 1:72 the accessories are genuinely tiny, so a magnifier on a stand and fine-tipped tweezers both pay off. Cut them free only at the moment you are going to fit them, or they will easily go astray. Dose the glue with the tip of a wire – a drop from the bottle tends to be too large for this size. A light-colored surface helps you find a small part when it falls.
In the package you will find accessories; the model, glues and paints do not belong to them.
