An injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary American fighter P-51D Mustang in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. Besides the plastic, the ProfiPACK edition includes color photo-etched parts, painting masks and several marking options, so a well-equipped model comes straight out of the box.
The P-51D Mustang was one of the best fighters of the Second World War. Thanks to its Packard Merlin engine and long range it escorted Allied bombers deep over enemy territory. It is characterized by the teardrop canopy, which gave the pilot an excellent view.
Use a thin cement for plastic and finish the cockpit with the color photo-etch before closing the fuselage up. For the natural metal surfaces a smooth base and metallic paints work well; the masks make spraying the canopy frames cleanly easier.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
