This resin Quickboost set in 1:72 scale contains an exactly cast propeller for the American North American P-51D Mustang fighter and, in addition, a simple alignment jig (a tool) for setting the blade angle correctly. It is not an aircraft model but an aftermarket detail part to swap for the plastic propeller from the kit.
The North American P-51D Mustang was one of the most successful American fighters of the Second World War, valued for its great range and performance. Its four-blade propeller is a prominent feature seen from the front. Faithfully shaped blades with sharp edges look better in resin than in plastic, and the jig supplied helps you glue them at the right angle.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water because of the mold release from the mold. Separate them from the casting block with a saw or a knife, do not break them off. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Use the jig to hold the blades in place until the glue has dried. Sand with respiratory protection, resin dust is harmful to health.
