The decal sheet is intended for F-16 models in 1:72 scale and, according to the name, covers the single-seat C version as well as the two-seat D. That matters when choosing: the two versions differ in the length of the cockpit and in the shape of the spine, so the layout of the legends on them is not the same.
The model first, the decals after
Before buying the sheet, be clear about which version you are building. If you are planning both, a sheet covering the pair of versions saves work compared with two separate sets.
Overcoat the finished paintwork with a gloss varnish and let it dry. Cut the decals off one at a time rather than the whole sheet in advance; the rest then stays protected by the backing paper. Once a decal is transferred to the model, blot the water off, check the position against the drawing in the building instructions and only then reach for the softener. Go over the dried decals with a varnish that evens out the sheen of the whole airframe.
Keep the unused decals in a dark, dry place. Light and damp gradually make the film brittle, and after years it then breaks even in the water.
