Hauler 1:72 Sd.Kfz.164 Nashorn is a photo-etched detail set for refining a model of the German tank destroyer Nashorn. Target kit: Revell.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detail set of fine metal parts meant for refining a model of the German tank destroyer Sd.Kfz.164 Nashorn in 1:72 scale. It is not a stand-alone model but an accessory that replaces coarser plastic elements with thin photo-etched parts and raises the realism of the build. The photo-etched fret is cut for the Revell kit.
The Nashorn (earlier designated Hornisse) was a German tank destroyer of the Second World War. On a chassis derived from the Panzer III and IV it carried a powerful 88 mm anti-tank gun in an open superstructure, which made it a feared destroyer of armored targets at long range.
The photo-etched parts are separated from the fret, shaped with a bending tool and glued with cyanoacrylate or epoxy. Before painting, degrease the metal and go over it with a primer. On armor it suits the finish to be completed with washes and pigments for mud and dust effects.
This is a detailing accessory, not a vehicle model. The basic plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
