A replacement exhaust nozzle of the Atar 9B engine for the Super Mystère B2 kit from the firm Special Hobby in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Super Mystère B2 is a French fighter from the middle of the 1950s, one of the first Western European aircraft able to pass the speed of sound in level flight. It has a swept wing, an oval air intake in the nose and a slender fuselage ending in the exhaust nozzle of an engine with an afterburner. The tail is precisely the rewarding place on a model: the nozzle is visible from the rear and from the side, and the depth of its mouth gives away the quality of the build sooner than anything else.
The set replaces the exhaust nozzle with a part intended for the Atar 9B engine, as the name of the item states. The Atar 9B is a French turbojet engine with an afterburner. The replacement nozzle has a thin wall at the mouth and a legible depth, so the tail of the model does not end in a thick rim and a blind bulkhead. The set is prepared for the Super Mystère kit from the firm Special Hobby in 1:72 scale.
The add-on set alone is supplied. A kit, paints, glue and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
