Soviet infantry in winter uniform in 1:72 scale is a snap-fit plastic figure set of Red Army soldiers for dioramas and tabletop games.
Responsibility details are not available.
This figure set in 1:72 scale captures Red Army soldiers in winter uniform from the early part of the Second World War. The box holds unpainted plastic parts for the figures in a snap-fit version that can be assembled even without glue. The figures will bring winter dioramas of the Eastern Front to life and will serve as units in tabletop war games.
The winter fighting of 1941 and 1942 made extraordinary demands on Soviet soldiers. The infantry wore quilted jackets, fur caps with ear flaps and felt valenki boots, which made fighting in hard frosts possible. The set captures this gear in true-to-life poses of firing and movement.
Separate the parts from the sprue gates and clean them up; the snap-fit joints hold even without glue. Lay down a darker base coat, then choose khaki and earth tones for the winter gear. A dry brush will bring out the folds of the quilted jackets; a fine white pigment will imitate frost and snow on the gear.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
