1:72 Spitfire Mk.IIa landing flaps is a photo-etched set of landing flaps for a model of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IIa fighter in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched supplementary set in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, which allows the lowered landing flaps to be shown on a model of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IIa fighter. The photo-etch faithfully captures the ribbed inner structure of the flaps, which a plastic part does not offer in this position. It is not a model but a detail accessory.
The Supermarine Spitfire was a British fighter aircraft of the Second World War with an elliptical wing. The Mk.II version followed on from the first production Spitfires and proved itself during the defensive fighting over Britain. On the ground the flaps tended to be lowered, which is a rewarding detail for a model standing on display.
Separate the parts from the fret, form them into the shape of the flaps and glue them on with super glue. The parts are then painted together with the model. Working with photo-etch calls for tweezers and a magnifier.
This is a supplementary photo-etched set, not a model of an airplane. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
