A plastic kit of the British fighter Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb in 1:72 scale from the German company Revell. It is a clearly laid out kit with injection-molded plastic, a clear canopy part and decals; check the exact contents against the enclosed instructions.
The Spitfire Mk.V was one of the most widespread versions of this British fighter. It was powered by a single-stage supercharged Rolls-Royce Merlin 45 series engine. The version with the type b wing carried a combined armament of two 20 mm cannon and four machine guns. The Mk.V formed the backbone of the British fighter force in 1941 and 1942 and fought on many fronts.
Clean the parts up and try the fit dry. Use a thin cement for plastic for the gluing. Apply a primer before painting and lay the British camouflage on with an airbrush. Lay the decals over a gloss varnish. Thanks to the clear layout of the build, the model suits less experienced modelers too.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
