The set brings complete color equipment for the cockpit of the two-seat training version of the Su-17 fighter-bomber with its variable-geometry wing. The individual elements are printed by 3D technology on thin flexible film, so they have real relief, fine highlights on the instruments and faithful colors on the control panels. The target kit is the Modelsvit one.
Application goes the same way as with classic wet decals: the part is released from the backing in water and transferred into place in the model. The flexible carrier adapts easily to the shape of the instrument panel and the side consoles. Do not use a softener for this, as it will attack the printed resin. A small 3D printed resin part is also included to fill out the detail.
The result is a richly articulated cockpit with no need for the laborious hand painting of dials. The set is intended for Su-17UM3 models in this scale.
