An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Hawker Tempest Mk.V fighter in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Kovozavody Prostejov. The At war boxing brings a new decal sheet with combat markings. The package contains the plastic sprues and clear parts.
The Tempest Mk.V was a powerful British fighter of the end of the Second World War powered by the mighty Napier Sabre engine. It excelled at high speed at low level, which made it useful for intercepting V-1 flying bombs as well as for attacks on ground targets. Its heavy cannon armament made it a feared machine over the continent.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and sand the fuselage joints and the wing leading edges carefully. Apply primer before painting. Typical schemes combine camouflage colors on the upper surfaces with light undersides and invasion stripes; an airbrush makes clean transitions easier. Apply gloss varnish under the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
