A diorama accessory in 1:72 scale from the Polish brand Eureka XXL. It is NOT a model; it is a tow cable set for improving kits of the Soviet T-34/76 tank and of the SU-85, SU-100 and SU-122 self-propelled guns, which are based on its chassis. It contains copper wire rope with which you replace the coarse plastic cable from the box.
Steel tow cables were a matter of course in the equipment of Soviet armored vehicles. Both the T-34 and the tank destroyers on its basis carried them secured on the sides and the rear of the hull and used them to recover a bogged-down vehicle. A hanging cable gives a model scale and credibility.
Form the copper wire rope into a natural sag and secure it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal, apply a primer and fine-tune the steel shade with a dark color, light rust and a wash in the brackets.
This is an accessory, not a stand-alone model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
