A waterslide decal sheet in 1:72 scale containing a set of American national insignia of the star and bar type (Stars and Bars), including the variant with an optional red surround to the bar. The set covers the development of the marking from 1942 to the present and is a universal stock of insignia in one scale. The printing is sharp, with rich colors and a thin carrier film.
American national insignia went through several changes during the Second World War and after it. The marking with white bars at the sides of the star was introduced during the war, and for a short time it also carried a red surround. The set makes it possible to capture both the period and the more recent forms of the marking still in use today.
Coat the base under the marking with gloss varnish to prevent silvering. Let the decal soften in lukewarm water and slide it into place. Watch the correct position and the symmetry on both halves of the aircraft. Finally coat it with a matte or satin varnish.
