The set contains resin propeller spinners in 1:72 scale, which replace the standard plastic parts with more faithful castings with the correct shape and a clean surface. The manufacturer is the Czech firm Quickboost (the Aires family), focused on easily used resin replacement parts.
The propeller spinners are a prominent element in view on a model and their shape helps to determine the character of the aircraft. Resin spinners have a more accurate profile and a smoother casting than injection-molded plastic, so that once painted they refine the look of the power plants. Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. Take care over the alignment with the propeller shaft. Spray them with primer before painting; spinners tend to be finished in gloss, so it pays to sand them smooth.
