Voyager Model 1:72 StuG III Ausf. G, side skirts in the early configuration is a photo-etched accessory for a plastic kit, not a model. The set is aimed at the Schürzen, that is the side armor skirts of the vehicle, and their mountings. The target kit is Dragon 7283.

An aftermarket set of photo-etched brass in 1:72 scale for the Dragon 7283 plastic kit. It is not a kit and not a finished model. According to the name the set concentrates on the side armor skirts, in German Schürzen, in the early configuration; the exact scope of the parts is determined by the instructions in the package.
The side skirts appeared on German vehicles during 1943 as protection for the sides of the hull and the superstructure against anti-tank rifles and shaped-charge ammunition. They were thin plates hung on a rail and brackets at a distance from the armor proper; their task was to initiate or disperse a hit before it reached the hull. The early and the later configurations differ in the shape of the plates, in how they were hung and in the design of the brackets. It is here that photo-etched parts have the advantage: the real plate was thin and a plastic imitation in a small scale is inevitably several times thicker.
On real vehicles the skirts seldom looked factory fresh. Whole sections were missing, others were bent or holed, because they were torn off against obstacles while driving. Brass can imitate that faithfully: a slight curve is suggested by drawing the part over a round handle, and a hole can be suggested from the reverse with a blunt needle. Work on damage sparingly and with thought, though, so that the result does not look like random deformation. Glue the brackets first and let them cure completely, and only then hang the plates themselves, otherwise the whole assembly will go out of line. It is painted after degreasing and a primer, and the edges of the plates will take fine wear down to the metal.
The set is an accessory for a plastic kit, which it does not include. The glue, paints and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
