A plastic kit model of the Czechoslovak agricultural aircraft Zlin Z-37A Cmelak in 1:72 scale from the Weekend Edition range of the company Eduard. In the spirit of the simplified Weekend edition the package contains plastic parts and Eduard decals for four machines. Photo-etched parts and masks are not included in the package.
The Cmelak was a single-seat agricultural aircraft with a radial piston engine, designed in Czechoslovakia for crop spraying and dusting. It was marked out by a rugged structure, an excellent view from the high-set cockpit and the ability to operate from grass strips. The Z-37A version was a strengthened and more durable form of the type; besides agricultural work it also served as a glider tug, and a number of machines are still flying today.
We recommend working with liquid cement for plastic and cutting the smaller parts off the sprues carefully. Because the Weekend edition contains no masks, prepare your own masking tape for the glazing of the large cabin. An airbrush suits the bold civil camouflage schemes; pick out the color areas and the panel lines with a fine wash. A good primer coat improves the adhesion of the paints.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
