The Tirpitz was the second battleship of the Bismarck class and one of the largest ships of the Kriegsmarine in the Second World War. She spent a large part of her service as a threat in the Norwegian fjords, where she tied down the forces of her opponent. She was the target of repeated air raids, and in 1944 heavy aerial bombs sank her.
The static version means that the model is not intended for the water but for display. Glue the small superstructures, the gun turrets and the masts carefully in small amounts. In color the ship starts from gray camouflage schemes; restrained washes bring out the decks and the panel breaks of the superstructures. A stand suits it for presentation.
