25mm File Sander with Med Grip Paper - a hand sander for modelers

This is a modeling tool, not a kit. A spring-loaded holder carries an abrasive band 25 mm wide and about 250 mm long in a medium grit. The tensioning spring keeps the band taut at all times, so the sanding face stays flat and the bands are easy to change.

Use

  • Levelling mold seams and sprue gate marks on plastic parts.
  • Sanding flat and gently curved surfaces and finishing places that are hard to reach.
  • Preparing a surface before filling and painting and blending transitions.
  • Also usable on wood, metal and other materials in ordinary modeling and hobby work.

Who it is for

Suitable for modelers and hobbyists who need quick, controlled sanding of smaller parts. A medium grit is the general-purpose choice between coarser removal and a fine finish.

Do not inhale the sanding dust and work in a ventilated area; the abrasive bands are a consumable.
