A set of small mushrooms made by three-dimensional printing from resin, intended as an accessory for figure bases and for scenery. The mushrooms come in several shapes and sizes, so a clump or a single striking specimen can be put together from them. The fantasy form aims at fairy-tale and fantasy subjects, where the point is not botanical accuracy but that a scene should have a world of its own. The manufacturer designed the set with a scale of around 1:48 in mind.
Printed parts have no casting blocks but thin supports that held them during printing. Cut them off with a sharp knife and sand the traces down with fine sandpaper. The parts are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, that is with super glue, because cement for plastic has no effect on resin. Apply a primer before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold on the smooth printed surface and will rub off during handling. The mushrooms come out best when you set the cap and the stem apart and let a dark wash run into the gills underneath.

The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
