Forty-five shaped plastic components create, once put together, a figure of the predator roughly forty-four centimeters long. Holding it together is taken care of by the locks in the parts themselves, so nothing is spread or glued anywhere. A base on which the dinosaur stands steadily belongs to the model. The age recommendation starts at ten years.
The Tyrannosaurus rex inhabited North America in the last two million years of the Mesozoic. It became famous for its massive skull with conical teeth, an exceptionally strong bite and the contrast between its massive body and its tiny forelimbs. Paleontologists have described a good sense of smell and binocular vision in it, which makes it one of the best researched dinosaurs of all. In the films it is an iconic character which even a viewer who otherwise knows nothing about dinosaurs recognizes.
It pays off to spread the parts out on a light surface and to go through the numbering in the instructions. The assembly goes from the bottom up, that is from the legs and the pelvis toward the torso and the head. If a joint resists, check the orientation of the part; force is usually not the solution.
