The relief color decals replace the laborious hand painting of the panels and the fittings of the cargo bay, as well as other interior elements, so the interior becomes the most striking place on the model. The package holds no kit, no glue and no paints.
The Bell UH-1 Huey is an American multi-purpose helicopter powered by a turboshaft engine, which became a symbol of the Vietnam War. Compared with the first batches, the B version had a more powerful engine and longer rotor blades. The glazed flight deck and the open cargo bay let you see more of the insides than on any aircraft, so interior detail shows markedly on a model.
The surface under the decal has to be smooth and clean, ideally oversprayed with a gloss clear coat, otherwise air stays trapped under the relief. Grip the part by its edge with tweezers and seat it at the first attempt, because sliding it around deforms a relief decal. Do not press on the raised areas, so that they are not flattened. Keep the order and the position of the individual elements according to the instructions enclosed in the package. Let everything dry thoroughly before you close the cockpit.
The decals are supplied on their own, without a kit and without paints, unless stated otherwise.
