A diorama accessory from the brand GINGER CAT in 1:35 scale. The name gives 40 pieces of pierced concrete blocks, that is of the elements known as breeze blocks. It is not a model of equipment but building material for a scene: out of the individual pieces you lay up a low wall, a fence, a parapet or a ventilating wall just as you need it. Version 16 is one of the numbered variants of the range; compare the pattern against the illustrations in the manufacturer's catalog.
Pierced blocks belong among the striking architectural elements of warm regions, where a wall has to let air through and give shade at the same time. In a diorama you can make an enclosure for a yard with them, a dividing wall on a terrace, a fence around a vehicle park or a lit part of a facade. They work well as proof of scale too: the regular grid of openings gives away at once the size of the figure or the vehicle standing next to it.
Round a base in a shade of concrete out with a dark emphasis of the recesses and a dry brush on the edges, so that the relief stands out. Water stains, dust and low vegetation at the foot of the wall will make a very credible element out of the set.
