An injection-molded plastic kit of the German half-track armored personnel carrier Sd.Kfz.251/1 in the early Ausf.A variant from ICM in 1:35 scale. The special feature of this boxing is that it also contains figures of German infantry from the early war period, so you can build a complete scene of the vehicle with its crew or an escort straight from the box. The kit has a detailed body interior and a decal sheet.
The Sd.Kfz.251 was the main German half-track armored personnel carrier of the Second World War, built by Hanomag and intended to carry motorized infantry and heavy weapons. The early Ausf.A configuration appeared at the turn of the 1930s and 1940s and can be recognized by details of the body and the equipment. The basic /1 version was intended to carry infantry and was usually armed with one or two machine guns. The carrier became a symbol of the German armored and motorized units.
Paint and weather the interior of the open body before you close it up, because it is clearly visible on the finished model. Glue the plastic with liquid cement for plastic and assemble the tracks according to the instructions. Apply a primer under the paint. For the patina use washes in the recesses and earth and dust pigments on the running gear and the underside. Paint the infantry figures separately, give attention to the faces and the uniforms, and place them in or around the vehicle at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
