Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet three-axle off-road truck ZiL-131 in an emergency service conversion, 1:35 scale, made by ICM (Ukraine). The package contains plastic sprues, waterslide decals and soft parts for the tires. The model captures the characteristic box body of a civil emergency service.
The ZiL-131 was a universal truck with all-wheel drive, built in the Soviet Union from the 1960s in large numbers for army and civil use alike. Thanks to its rugged design and good cross-country ability it served as a chassis for all kinds of bodies, from flatbeds through tankers to specialized emergency and breakdown vehicles of the utility and technical services.
First assemble the chassis, the engine and the drivetrain, and only then close up the bed and the body. Paint the tires and the wheel wells before final assembly. Use thin cement for gluing the plastic and bond the soft tire parts with super glue. Washes and pigments for mud and dust effects suit the patina and give the vehicle a believable working look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
