ICM 1:35 US Field Stove M1937 with cooks is an injection-molded plastic set of figures of American field cooks together with field stoves and kitchen equipment.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic set in 1:35 scale captures a scene from an American field kitchen of the Second World War. The package contains four figures of army cooks in various poses, M-1937 field stoves, a table and kitchen equipment. The stove can be assembled with its doors open or closed, and small accessories such as knives, a pot, a pan and jerrycans are included as well. It makes a rewarding basis for dioramas of rear-area and supply scenes.
The standard American field kitchen of the Second World War could feed hundreds of soldiers and was usually placed further back, where bringing up provisions was easier. Preparing the food rested on M-1937 field stoves running on liquid fuel. The set therefore fills out scenes of the rear areas and of the everyday life of units well.
Assemble the figures and the equipment and clean up the parting lines, then lay down a primer. Paint the uniforms and the skin in thin layers; washes and dry shadows will give depth. The stoves and the cookware come out well in metallic shades with a gentle patina. Arrange the accessories so that the scene reads as alive.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
