This injection-molded plastic kit from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM captures the German twin-engine bomber Junkers Ju 88 in the A-5 version. The model has a richly broken-up cockpit and a pair of detailed Jumo 211 engines, which can be displayed with the cowlings open.
The Ju 88 was among the most widespread and most versatile German aircraft of the Second World War. The A-5 version received an increased wing span and liquid-cooled Jumo 211 engines. The machines took part in the fighting over Britain and on other fronts as medium bombers.
The glazed nose and the complex cockpit deserve careful masking and finishing of the interior before the fuselage is closed. Liquid cement for plastic, a primer and an airbrush are recommended. The engines can be displayed with the cowlings open as a feature detail.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
