A kit of a German battleship from the period of the First World War in 1:700 scale. The model is intended to be assembled and painted.
Responsibility details are not available.
German battleships from the time of the First World War were among the most powerful machines of their day. They carried their main artillery in twin turrets distributed along the length of the hull, the medium caliber was mounted in casemates along the sides, and smaller guns on the superstructures served against torpedo boats. Characteristic features are the tall forward superstructure with its mast, massive funnels and a low, broad hull whose shape followed from the emphasis on armor protection and on resistance to a hit below the waterline. These ships formed the core of the fleet that in 1916 met the British force off the Skagerrak, in the action known in English as the Battle of Jutland.
A kit to be assembled and painted in 1:700 scale, that is, in the scale that is the most widespread for warship models and in which a whole squadron can be built. The particular ship, the number of parts, the treatment of the hull and the marking options are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The set will please modelers who take an interest in the navies of the First World War, as well as collectors whose display case will not take ships in larger scales. Paints, glue, thinner and tools are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
