An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet Ural-375D off-road truck in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian maker ICM. It is a classic injection kit with a detailed chassis, running gear and cab with a basic interior; the flatbed body is built up from several parts. The exact package contents and the number of marking options are not stated here.
The Ural-375 was a Soviet heavy off-road truck with 6x6 all-wheel drive and a payload of around five tons, produced from the 1960s at the works in Miass. The 375D version was among the most widespread vehicles of the Soviet Army and served as a general-purpose cargo carrier as well as a chassis for a whole range of special bodies, from tankers through command boxes to rocket launchers. The truck stood out for excellent cross-country performance and great pulling power.
Assemble and paint the chassis, the axles and the running gear first, and only then close the cab and the body. Cut the parts from the sprues and glue them with liquid modeling cement for plastic. Apply a primer and the paints with an airbrush; for a faithful look, pick out the shades with a wash and add dust and mud effects with pigments on the wheel arches and the lower areas of the truck.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
