Junkers Ju-87 Stuka is the third volume of the British Warpaint series, a publication on the German dive bomber by Alan W. Hall, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a publication, not a model. The third volume of the Warpaint series was published by the British Warpaint Books and the author is Alan W. Hall. The book has 28 pages in A4 format and is in English. Besides historians, the series is aimed directly at modelers: the text on the type is accompanied by color side profiles and views and by drawings in 1:72 scale.
The Junkers Ju 87, nicknamed the Stuka, was a German dive bomber with a characteristic inverted gull wing and fixed landing gear in aerodynamic fairings. It attacked in a dive with an automatic pull-out system that brought the aircraft out even under high g loads. It was used from the Spanish Civil War through the Polish and French campaigns and the Battle of Britain right up to the end of the war on the Eastern Front. The later D version had an aerodynamically cleaner forward section, and the anti-tank G carried two 37 mm guns in gondolas under the wings.
For modelers looking for a reference for building and painting a particular aircraft, and for readers interested in the German air arm of the Second World War. The text is in English, and the drawings and side profiles are usable on their own as well. The extent of 28 pages matches an overview monograph of a single type: it brings together the development, the use and the references for painting, but it does not go into the depth of the production batches.
