Acrylic Bases - Round 25 mm CLEAR RED

Acrylic Bases - Round 25 mm CLEAR RED

Acrylic Bases - Round 25 mm CLEAR RED is a round gaming base 25 mm in diameter from the Spanish label Green Stuff World. The CLEAR RED color designation is carried by the name of the product itself. This is not a display base for a finished model in a display case but a base for a figure in play: its diameter decides how much room the figure takes up on the table, where distances are measured from and how closely models can be drawn up side by side.

Why the size decides with a gaming base

In tabletop games with figures the base is part of the rules, not just an ornament. Movement and reach are measured from its edge, who can see whom is judged by its outline, and the size tells how many models fit into a formation or onto a space being held. When you add to or replace bases, therefore, hold to the diameter your figures are used to. A circle 25 mm in diameter is among the most common formats for small foot models.

When to reach for it

• You need a round base exactly 25 mm in diameter.
• You want to tell a squad, a side or a model's state apart by color right on the gaming table.
• You are filling in missing bases in a collection already in play.
• You are looking for a base for play, not a decorative plinth for a display case.

Who it is for

For players of battle and skirmish games and for collectors of figures who want a whole collection on uniform bases. Choose by the diameter your figures use; the shape, the size and the color designation are in the name of the product. The number of pieces in the package and the thickness are given by the manufacturer on the packaging.
