Js Work Airbrush CAMO-MASK Canadian Armed Forces CF-116 (1:48)

A set of vinyl self-adhesive masking films for spraying the aggressor camouflage of the CF-116 light fighter of the Canadian Armed Forces in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit and it is not decals, but an aid that creates sharp camouflage transitions on the model.

The real subject

CF-116 is the Canadian designation of a light fighter from the F-5 family. The Canadian Armed Forces deployed it among other things in the role of aggressor aircraft, which imitated enemy machines during training, and for that reason painted them in unusual camouflage schemes. The set corresponds to the finish of the machine known by the nickname Bluenose.

Use

• Transfer the pieces of film onto the dry base color according to the diagram.
• Spray the adjoining shade of the camouflage and remove the films once the paint has set.
• Press the film over edges and panels without creases.
• Apply thin coats of paint so that the transitions stay sharp.

Who the set is for

• Modelers building the CF-116 or the related F-5 in 1:48 scale.
• Airbrush builders interested in Canadian aggressor machines.
• Those who want an accurate camouflage without freehand spraying.

The films serve as a masking aid for spraying. The paints, an airbrush and the model are not included in the package.
