A sheet of decals in 1:72 scale from Star Decals, placed in the series devoted to the war in Ukraine under the serial number 12. Unlike sets built around one vehicle, this sheet is a store of the insignia themselves, as the name describes it: a selection from the many various symbols used in the years 2022 and 2023.
A store of insignia is not tied to one type of hardware, so you draw on it according to which model you are building at the time. The particular make-up of the sheet and the number of symbols is listed on its packaging. Your reference therefore decides: from a photograph or a drawing you choose the insignia that fits the given vehicle and period. The advantage of such a sheet is that one purchase covers several part-built models and you are not left with the majority of the markings unused on each of them.
Tactical symbols are often placed on armor plates with rivets, eyes and welds. So that a decal is not left hanging above a detail, lay it onto a dampened glossy area, push the air out from the center toward the edges and use a softener. A bubble that arises all the same should be pierced with the tip of a needle and coated with softener again.
