AKtion Magazine Issue 03 is a printed magazine from the AK Interactive imprint focused on wargaming, terrain building and painting miniatures.
Responsibility details are not available.
A printed magazine from the AK Interactive imprint devoted to wargaming and everything that goes with it: painting miniatures, building gaming terrain and preparing whole battlefields. It is not a kit or a modeling material but a publication, saddle-stitched in soft covers, running to some seventy pages and printed bilingually in English and Spanish.
The magazine will appeal to players of tabletop war games who paint their own armies and build their own gaming tables, and to modelers looking for inspiration for a diorama or a vignette. The guides are written practically, with photographs of the individual steps, so they can be used as a working reference right at the bench: the process is set out from the base color through shading to the final weathering and is easy to carry over to a subject other than the one photographed in the article. The sections devoted to terrain show how to put together a playing surface from readily available materials that will also stand up as a display scene. A knowledge of English or Spanish is assumed. It also suits as a companion to the same publisher's paints and weathering products, because the methods refer to commonly available modeling materials.
This is a printed publication, not a model or a modeling material. Paints, miniatures and tools are not included in the package.
