ATOM COLOR Pink Flesh

ATOM COLOR Pink Flesh, a shade from the ATOM color range

One bottle of a single shade from the ATOM modeling color range by AMMO of Mig Jimenez. It is not a kit and not a paint set, but a paint for finishing models and figures. The name Pink Flesh points to a flesh shade with a pronounced pink undertone.

Where the shade is used

Pink flesh shades are the basis of European skin on figures, busts and the crews of vehicles and aircraft. They are used to paint faces, necks, hands and every exposed part of the body, over which shadows and highlights are then layered. The shade also suits small details where skin is meant to show through, and on animals the tongue, the muzzle or hairless areas. In dioramas with civilian figures it is one of the most used shades of all.

Advice for working with the paint

• Stir the bottle well before every use.
• Build the skin up in thin coats, or the shape of the face is easily filled in.
• Apply the base tone to a smooth surface; every unevenness shows on a face.
• If you thin the paint or clean your tools, reach for the thinner and cleaner from the same ATOM range.
• Before you start on the model, try the tone and the transitions on a scrap surface.

Who the paint is for

• Modelers of figures and busts
• Modelers who paint the crews of vehicles and aircraft
• Wargamers with large armies of figures
• Builders of dioramas with civilian scenes

Store the paint out of the reach of children, work in a well-ventilated room and close the bottle carefully after use.
